1. Information We Collect
Util-Tools is an online utility service that can be used without registration. We do not ask for directly identifying information such as legal name, address, or government ID.
Non-identifying technical information such as IP address, browser information, device information, access logs, and cookies may be generated automatically for security, analytics, and advertising.

- Displaying ads through services such as Google AdSense
3. Cookies and Google Ads
Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
Google uses advertising cookies to personalize ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings, and you can disable or delete cookies in your browser settings.
4. Receipt Images and Shared Data
Receipt images selected by users are sent through the Util-Tools server to the Google Gemini API for analysis. Util-Tools does not store the receipt image itself in its database.
When a share link is created, item names, amounts, participants, and settlement results are temporarily stored in MongoDB and deleted after 72 hours. A deleted link's random identifier may be retained without settlement content to prevent the same URL from being issued again.
Please avoid uploading images that show sensitive information such as card numbers or phone numbers.
5. Third-party Services
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are used for usage statistics and service improvement. The Google AdSense script may be loaded for site review and advertising, and the Kakao JavaScript SDK is used for KakaoTalk sharing. Each provider may process technical information under its own policy.
